Luke Tomasello
President and CTO, Tomasello Software LLC.
I've been writing software for the personal computer professionally since
1984 and have a broad understanding of software, programming languages and
systems architecture.
In 1995, I developed the first WinCron for in-house use; basically we needed
software to 'wake up' at 2am and carry out a sophisticated software build
process and publish. Approximately one year later I took WinCron public to
share it's capabilities with the world.
I've not stopped enhancing it ever since.
Something worth knowing is that I'm one of my own most avid customers! I
currently maintain a commercial web hosting site as well as developing and
hosting a massively multiplayer online role playing game (MMORPG). Our
WinCron software (and most recently WinCron .NET) powers these servers by
carrying out extensive tasks like automated emailing of status logs,
backups, program launches, etc. These scripts are delivered as Sample
Programs in the WinCron .NET deliverable.
